This study presents the energy and economic analysis of Thermoelectric (TE) cooler design. The system designed for this purpose provides equal cooling power under equal temperature difference. In the study, seven different types of TE modules were used, operating conditions of the modules were changed due to module numbers. In addition, the variation in the cost of electric power was taken into account. In all cases, investment, energy and total cost values per unit cooling power were estimated and compared. While the most appropriate (optimum) operating condition in thermoeconomic terms varies for each module type, it corresponds to a value between maximum current value, where maximum power is generated, and optimum current values. It is seen that thermodynamic optimum point and thermoeconomic optimum point differ from each other.
